Established as recently as 2001, Issey Miyake watches is a collaboration between Seiko Instruments Inc. and the Miyake Design Studio. There have been more than eight designers involved, and each has designed sub-brands of distinction, each one true to the spirit of Issey Miyake. Each designer creates a fresh design for an analogue watch which is made in Japan. The designers also design distinctive packaging for their own watch. The collaborative triangle of Seiko, Miyake Design Studio and individual designer combines in beautiful, functional designs, each of which is a distinct, affordable and reliable timepiece.
